Jethro Mazenge

ethro Mazenge is a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a BSc (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing and extensive experience in forensic, acute, community, and custodial care settings. His career spans over a decade, progressing from Healthcare Assistant roles to Registered Nurse, giving him solid foundations in holistic patient care, resilience, and adaptability.

Jethro specialises in supporting adults with complex psychiatric needs, including mood disorders, psychosis, and personality disorders. He is highly proficient in risk assessment, crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, safeguarding, and the development of recovery-focused care plans. His professional practice also encompasses medication administration, mental state examinations, and facilitating therapeutic group sessions, ensuring safe, evidence-based interventions aligned with NICE and NMC standards.

His custodial care experience at HMP Elmley Prison enhanced his ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure, balancing empathy with clinical judgement to protect vulnerable individuals. This is complemented by his background in community and residential care, where he provided safe daily living support and dementia care.

As Registered Manager for the Kent branch of Zuva Care Services Ltd, Jethro provides daily operational and clinical leadership, ensuring that services comply with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the CQC’s five key domains (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well-Led). His responsibilities include workforce management, safeguarding oversight, inspection preparedness, rota and care planning, and quality assurance.
